I BELIEVE IN:

All of the skills that we want for children, like self-regulation, resiliency, kindness - all of those executive functioning skills that come with development of the prefrontal cortex of the brain - are actually a natural consequence of a healthy connection with an adult. To build connection, your greatest investment is not in the latest learning gadget or discipline technique — it’s in your presence.

The more present we are, the more we can empower kids.

As a producer and writer, I know the profound influence that stories have on our lives. And there's no more potent tool at our disposal for generating positive impact through stories than our own presence. 

Presence is the muscle that fortifies our choices with our core values. It's where we find clarity. Being more present gives us the strength to parent, to create; to make decisions that align with our authentic selves.
